The annual Manaiakalani Principals' Wānanga in 2023 is set to expand. The principals' across the Manaiakalani Network have requested more time for this inspiring and valuable event. Thursday 26th will have the formal start and content sharing from 11:00 am (allowing those who prefer not to have the expense of two nights accomodation to travel in the morning) until 3:00pm .A social event on Thursday evening provides the opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues, and to meet those new to the network. Friday will include facilitated cluster conversations around the information presented, followed by time for clusters to develop their own planning for 2024. The venue for the Wānanga is the conference centre facilities at Waipuna in Mt Wellington. For those travelling, this provides the added convenience of staying on site.

A social event on Thursday evening provides the opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues, and to meet those new to the network. In 2022 MET provided a new venue for the Wānanga ie the conference centre facilities at Waipuna in Mt Wellington. For those travelling, this provided the added convenience of staying on site.
Some principals choose to bring key staff with them, and/or Board members. Each attendee needs to be registered separately.
NB: The event will NOT be live streamed. It will be recorded for reviewing after the event.
